Safeguarding in International Development Research: Evidence Review

Dr Gabrielle Daoust is a Research Fellow in International Relations in the School of Global Studies, University of Sussex. She has been involved in research and practice in international intervention and development for 10 years. She co-authored the Safeguarding in International Development Research evidence review for UKCDR, and has conducted research on humanitarian interactions and safeguarding and approaches to safeguarding knowledge production. Her research broadly focuses on processes and effects of international intervention, development and violent conflict, and peacebuilding and education. This includes projects on in South Sudan, Somaliland, and Cameroon, and with international organisations such as UNICEF.
